The Requests Must Flow: Practical Workflows for Resource Sharing Across Multiple Locations - 2016 ILLiad Conference
Handling Interlibrary Loans can sometimes be a tricky endeavor. Adding in multiple branch libraries and an off-site storage location makes it even trickier. Binghamton University Libraries consists of Bartle Library, the Science Library, University Downtown Center Library, and the Library Annex, our remote storage location. All of these locations include resource sharing staff working on an ILLiad client running on the same server. This presentation will discuss the challenges and successes encountered while managing ILL and Document Delivery across these different locations. Topics will include developing best practices, streamlining services, and sharing updates.
