This presentation will discuss how to use the Bootstrap HTML/CSS framework to customize patron-facing web pages in ILLiad.  Prerequisites are a general knowledge of HTML and CSS. This presentation will instruct attendees on how to deploy Bootstrap in their ILLiad system and then walk through some basic customizations that can be done using pre-defined CSS classes from Bootstrap.  Come hear about this simple way to produce a dramatically new look for your ILLiad system.

Goals:

  • Provide a basic introduction to the Bootstrap framework and how it can be used to customize patron-facing ILLiad web pages. 
  • Demonstrate how to deploy Bootstrap in your instance of ILLiad.
  • Assign pre-defined CSS classes from Bootstrap to existing HTML elements.
