Office Delivery 101 - 2016 ILLiad Conference

This session will describe the history of office delivery services offered at the University of Iowa Libraries.  The presentation will then delve into the specifics of implementing this for Interlibrary Loan books – who to convince, what needs to be changed in the client and the user interface, emails/print templates edits, policies, assessment, and a general overview of the workflow and workload.

Attendees will learn the benefits and drawbacks to offering this delivery service; how to configure ILLiad to make this process seamless; and simple tips and tricks to configuring ILLiad that could translate to other customizations.  This session would be useful to those attendees thinking about offering office delivery and well as others who have implemented and want to learn about others’ experiences and to share their own.
