Caught…by the Copyright! Strategies for managing costs using ILLiad and vendor add-ons

With increasing cost of Copyright, and budgets that do not keep pace, find ways to say, "Yes" and make the best use of budget resources. Create varying levels of service with customized ILLiad Status, use MaxCost to greatest advantage, and incorporate vendors such as Reprints Desk: Article Galaxy. The University of Memphis started using the Reprints service this year and the first-hand experience from investigation to full use will be shared. Hearing experience may take some of the 'mystery' out for others that may be interested in taking advantage of this potential cost saving service which can be use within ILLiad as an Add-On. Ample time will be allowed for sharing ideas from other locations.
