Smaller ILL departments often face different challenges than our larger counterparts.  From smaller budgets to shared staff, we need to be able to make the most of out what we commonly perceive as limitations and make the largest impact possible for our patrons and other borrowers.

Learn how to:

  • Do more with less: How to stretch the budget to meet the needs of your patrons; How to stretch minimal staff to cover maximum requests; "Crosstraining"
  • Get the word out: Smaller operations get lost in the shuffle.  How do you let your patrons know that you exist and what you are capable of doing for them?
  • Use resources that are already available to you: Setting up custom queues, using routing rules effectively, other ILLiad tricks to speed the process
