Setting up effective workflows is an important part of using the OCLC Knowledge Base (KB). Presenters from Indiana Wesleyan University and The Ohio State University will provide detailed information on the different ways that each of their libraries receives and routes article requests in ILLiad while using Direct Request for Articles and the KB. The presentation will include details on setting up the OCLC Knowledge Base, routing rules, Direct Request profiles, and custom emails to streamline and automate article processing and fulfillment. IWU and OSU will show there’s no single ‘right’ way to do things, and those interested in implementing the KB or who have already implemented it will receive valuable tips for creating or re-creating article workflows for their institution, big or small.
