Email routing is a powerful ILLiad feature allowing staff to automate common ILL correspondence and notification tasks while updating transaction statuses simultaneously.

Examples: notifying a patron of renewal granted or denied, requesting citation clarification from patrons, sending a note to the lending library from the transaction record, sending the patron a link for finding the requested material in a local database or web site.
